I am photo editing nut. I love to edit photos and have to admit, I am pretty good at it. At this point, I can edit most anything but some of them take the right program, tool, and enough time to do it. People have asked me before if I can edit people out and into photos and the answer is yes however their is a big BUT after that because it is next to impossible to get it to look "natural" not to mention, the time it takes to do that well...is A LOT of time (like hours and hours for one photo). I have done it a few times where it looked good and that was when I took a photo of someone at the same time and in the same location as the photo I was putting them in so the lighting, shadows, and almost everything were the same and were "blendable" (is that a word? lol). Anyway, it's the one thing that I try to stay away from doing and warn people about doing because it's very hard to make it look right.
Other than that, I am pretty good at editing photos the way I want. The only other problem I run into is having the right program. Adobe Photoshop is awesome and can do everything I need however currently, I don't have it. I had it on my old computer and never got it after it died. I started using picnik and paid for the premium version and made things work with that. I loved picnik because it had most of the tools I use and they worked really well plus it was conveniant. Sadly this last spring, picnik closed. They moved to google+ and work there but they don't all the same tools. My favorite tool is the clone tool which google+ doesn't have so while I am saving up for Adobe Photoshop again, I have found some apps that I love and do work pretty well. (They are not perfect but they are good). I have also found a bunch of tutorials for photo editing tips for those who are beginners or wanted to learn how to edit photos well. I have a lot of friends and family who ask me questions about how to do some of this stuff so I figured their is a large audience of you that want to know how to edit a photograph.
Before I go into my list of resources for this, I will tell you the apps I use and love: snapseed, photogene, picshop, icolorama, and frame artist +
